Stacey Bruce, PHR - President
Stacey Bruce, PHR has been elected President. Stacey is a Human Resource Specialist at the Manufacturers’ Association of Northwest Pennsylvania where she began her career in 1993. The Manufacturers’ Association is dedicated to providing information and services to its more than 4,500 member companies that will assist them in the pursuit of their business and community interests. Stacey is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Business Management. She received her PHR certification in 2001 and 2006. Stacey served as the HRMA Secretary in 2006. Laura Klopfer Wright – President Elect
Mrs. Wright is the President of Recruit Wright, a professional search and human resources consulting agency located in Erie, Pennsylvania. She has seventeen years of Human Resource Management experience and was previously employed as Director of Human Resources at PHB, Inc. in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Wright also serves as adjunct faculty at Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, New York. Laura is a graduate of Allegheny College with a B.A. in Communication Arts. She earned her M.B.A. in Management and Marketing from St. Bonaventure University. Mrs. Wright, her husband and son, reside in Erie, Pennsylvania. Brenda Thoma - Secretary
Brenda is the Human Resources Manager for the Saegertown Operations of LORD Corporation. Brenda previously held positions of HR Manager at the Grandview and Cambridge Springs locations of LORD. She started her career with LORD in 1986 in the International group. In 1987, she was promoted to work in the adhesives group and in 1988 was promoted to HR Coordinator. Brenda received her BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Brenda lives in Millcreek with her husband; Tim, children; Richard (RJ), Rachel, and Ryan. Debbie Iavarone, SPHR – Treasurer
Debbie is currently the Human Resource Manager at American Turned Products, a manufacturing company of precision machined components. She has worked in the human resource field for over fifteen years and received her SPHR certification in 2002.
