Welcome
to the home page for the Human Resource
Management Association of Northwest Pennsylvania (HRMANWPA), which is a local chapter of the
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). HRMANWPA is a non-profit
association of human resource professionals in a variety of
organizations. The association was formed in 1960 with the following objectives:
- To promote the
development and improvement of personnel practices among the
membership.
- To increase
interest in the field of human resources within Erie County and
other areas.
- To enhance the
prestige of the personnel and HRM professional in the eyes of
management and the public.

To stimulate
closer cooperation between industry, business/distribution,
services, education, and government agencies in Erie and other
areas.
